W/01 · Overview

What website design actually covers.

Website design is more than visuals. It is the systematic work of understanding how your customers decide, structuring information so the next action is always obvious, and giving engineering a design system that scales without drift.

Our design engagements pair senior UX strategists with visual designers. You get research-backed flows, accessible UI patterns, and a token-based design system your team can extend long after launch.

W/02 · Scope

What is included in a website design engagement.

Strategy, research, UI and a system to maintain it.

  • Scope 01

    UX research and audit

Heuristic review, analytics teardown, competitive analysis and stakeholder interviews to ground design decisions in evidence.

  • Scope 02

    Information architecture

Sitemaps, page flows, navigation models and content patterns that map directly to how your buyers search and decide.

  • Scope 03

    Wireframes and prototypes

Low and high-fidelity wireframes, clickable prototypes and interaction specs aligned to conversion goals and brand voice.

  • Scope 04

    Visual design and UI

Pixel-precise UI in Figma covering every page, state, breakpoint and edge case engineering will need to ship.

  • Scope 05

    Design system and tokens

Reusable component library, type scale, color tokens, spacing system and motion guidelines documented for engineering handoff.

  • Scope 06

    Accessibility built in

WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, focus states, keyboard flows and screen-reader patterns specified at the component level, not retrofitted later.

W/06 · FAQ

Website Design (UX/UI) — common questions.

Practical answers to the questions buyers ask before they engage on website design (ux/ui).

FAQ 01

Do you deliver designs only, or design and build?

Both. Many engagements include design plus development on Astro, Next.js, Webflow or your existing stack. Design-only is available when you have an internal engineering team ready to build.

FAQ 02

Will we own the Figma files and design system?

Yes. All design files, components and tokens are delivered in your workspace with full edit access. There is no vendor lock-in on the source files.

FAQ 03

How long does a typical website design project take?

Marketing sites typically run 4–8 weeks for design, depending on scope and stakeholder cycles. Larger product UIs and design systems run 8–14 weeks.

FAQ 04

Can you work with our existing brand guidelines?

Yes. We design within established brand systems and extend them where the web surface requires patterns the print or product brand has not defined yet.
